Jaipur. 13 May.08

The terror attacks.

People who read and people who do not read the news papers, all know about the mishap that took place on the 13 of May in the pink city. The city so beautiful and so peaceful, people would have never imagined that something of this kind could shock the city and rip it apart.
The blasts, obviously left no one happy.
Flipping the coin, The situation is getting worse day by day. If we recall the number of blasts India has faced in 10 years, the count will only increase the heart beat, and the the terror in minds, regarding whats more to come.
The blasts not only are a danger to property, but also to human lives for sure. The killing only increases, though the mediums change.

Turning back to the pages of history, we would find the answers to many such questions that still remain unanswered or people fail to answer or rather prefer not to answer. I would say that it started with the killing of the Mahatma, and continues still today. The history, as we say is very rich when it comes to India, but is a deep secret as they say "history changes with the people". Facts and figures will always be manipulated and its upto the individual to grasp.

I am sure, others might have a different point of view for that, but no arguments. There are certain holes in the wall which are yet to be filled for a terror free India, or the world at large.
People obviously have their choices, but attempts should always be made from self, because we are the future of India, and world at large, and its our duty to make it as safe as possible.
Unions survive because we fear them. Face the fear, and let there be light.
We should be glad that we live in a democratic society. Let this not become our handcuffs. exercise your rights, because its you, who has the power to be all.

what are we upto??

Visit any of the monuments near by your city or in India.
Or rather I will start from, see the heritage buildings of India, and ask yourself "Have I done justice to them?"
My recent visit to Nahargarh made me ponder over the point really hard. I was shocked to see area, disarrayed!!!
Yes you will discuss the matter at home with family, at coffee with friends but never with yourself. One is never going to discuss with oneself about what is or what can be done.
People often debate this issue with this being the responsibility of the government, but have you ever sat alone with yourself and pondered over the fact that self responsibility is what affects the matter the most. If one has a little bit of self responsibility and cultivates the right habits, we can take a step forward to secure our national wealth.
People from around the globe visit India, with tourism rate growing 9% annually. When they come to see the land which is indeed rich in culture and heritage, we show them something they barely expect!!!
We have monuments built thousands of years ago, but the artwork on its walls belong to the 21 century!!! we build new buildings but forget that we have to even preserve the older ones.
Its like littering around in your own home.
The simplest things of all....when you want a cleaner environment, why don't you yourself make an effort for it??
We youngsters have the capacity to change the face of India. We have the capacity to make India the best place on earth, We are endowed with the treasure from the past which many great countries like America and China don't have.
When we see India growing, econimically, why cant we think about it in terms of enviroment around us??
We can keep the foreign lands clean because we cannot afford a thousand dollar fine, but cannot make our nation graceful.
It takes a small step to make it like vanilla, just do not litter around, and ask of each one around the same. It does not start with the responsibility of the government, it starts with you now and here.

the broken leaf

I lay tere on the street
deserted,
I belonged to the tree, now no more,
I lay there, broken...
I lay there, as if I was never from those softwoods
I felt the pain, but had no words to explain
I wanted to go back, go back to my roots,
I saw people pass by, they didn't seem to care
they didnt bother to notice me lying on the soil
I was hurt, again and again
I cried and cried, but realised that no one can hear me
because I am the Broken leaf.

About Bhuj

Bhuj, the main town of Kutch, would best be described as charming. It used to be an old walled city. In the past, its gates were locked each night from dusk till dawn. Today, the city extends well beyond the walls of Bhujia Fort and yet retains all of its glory. You can wander for hours in the intricate maze-like streets and alleyways of this fascinating town, with mesmerizing crafts.

Waving our hands to stop the three wheeled vehicles, and gazing at the streets whilst the winds past us through. Looking at the soothing lake that surrounds, and entering a contrast, where sand is all that is around. Walking in the scorching sun in expanse of Motapir, being in the last straw, and looking at the enthusiastic bunch of kids around, is convivial experience.

The frolicsome atmosphere followed us through the house of chirpy people both young and old, where time flied like a bird and at the end of the day “energy” haloed around and working was never such boisterous.

a lonely wall....

it stands there, silent in the corner
u see it all through your life
having deep secrets beheld
it hears you cry it hears you laugh
there in the corner of the room stands a lonely wall
waiting for you to look at it
look at it and see how it stands there patiently,
teaching you lessons in life, teaching you to be strong when ur discouraged, teaching you to be serene wen your restless
it tells you to be someone, someone worth of being looked upon

Stranger- a friend

I always rationalized that friends are the ones u know, until i met the stranger
i always mused that friends are people who form that part of your life you rejoice with, until i met the stranger
i always anticipated that friends are those you go to school with, until i met the stranger
the stranger i can never forget...
the stranger who recited me the pure meaning of the word "friends"
the stranger who acquainted me with the aesthetics of what friends really are, because those who stay with you for your happy times may not be there with you during the testing periods of life
the stranger, whom i confronted when i saw my soul standing strong when the rest of the world parted.
